Family Fun at Canada's Northern House
March
2010
Families visiting Canada's Northern House are finding a treasure trove of things to see and do. A barren ground caribou greets people at the door, and inside you can get up-close-and-personal with a muskox, an arctic wolf and a polar bear. Children are building their own inuksuit from northern rocks and having their picture taken next to the human-sized inuksuk that stands in the entry.
Kids are loving the green screen, where you have a video made of you featuring iconic northern backdrops. Even though the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games are over, we're continuing to invite performers and special guests to the House. Check the events schedule for the latest times and programming. It's all great fun for the little people, and grown-up ones too. Come and see us!
Hours of operation: We're open seven days a week from 10 am to 5 pm until April 17.
